Yesterday, my friend asked me how old my daughter was when we first discussed getting a bikini line trimmer for her personal use. Knowing that her daughter is several years younger, she wanted to be sure that she was not bringing it up too soon. She also did not want to embarrass her daughter so she asked how I approached the subject with my daughter. My daughter has always been very athletic and swimming competitively is her passion. I was a competitive swimmer, too, and I know that she wants to look and feel her best when she is competing. It helps her feel more confident and allows her to focus all of her energy on her swimming. That is why I decided to tell her about using a trimmer when she was approaching puberty. I was not sure how to approach her, aside from bringing up my own swimming history. She was happy that I had discussed it with her.
